Carnatic music exudes spirituality, puts us in a meditative state, where thoughts cease and we feel only uplifting peace and joy. Raga Manoranjani Fine Arts is a vocal carnatic music school that enlightens and transforms the students with traditional teaching and practice. Students are given systematic training on how to maintain shruthi (pitching) and talam (rhythm) together, develop a sharp ear for carnatic music, and enjoy great music; these skills are vital to developing one's musical abilities.
Lessons are taught starting from the basics (Saraliswarams) of carnatic music which helps the students lay the foundation to achieve their highest potential in music. Classes are mostly taught in groups and are customized to each group’s potential and the maturity of their talent. Emphasis is given to learning thru practice and listening. Our focus will be on bringing out the best singer in each student.
At Raga Manoranjani Fine Arts, we believe that learning carnatic music is a joyous journey with many significant milestones to celebrate along the way.
The student is taught to enjoy the music learning process. Each milestone provides the student opportunities to present their achievements at local temples and cultural events.Dedication and passion for musical notes (ragam) and rhythm (talam) along with an appreciation for music and classical education are key ingredients to musical success.
